Fork-blend 1 cup dairy sour cream with 2 teaspoons vinegar or lemon juice, 2 teaspoons brown prepared mustard, 1/2 teaspoon salt, a dash or 2 of white pepper, and (optional) 1/2 to 1 teaspoon sugar.
